DRESS DONATION GUIDELINES

For the safety of our Recipients:

• All dresses MUST be dry-cleaned, in good condition and fashionable
• All dresses MUST be formal, semi-formal, evening, casual and age appropriate
• All dresses MUST have size label on dress or tagged on dress
• All dress donations delivered to our office locations MUST be in a box or shipping bag

We cannot accept the following:

• Garments that are not clean and/or in need of repairs
• Open makeup items
• Unpacked items (MUST be in a box or shipping bag such as FedEx) or it will be REJECTED

We are currently in need of your MONETARY donations. 

Your generous gift help us to continue to provide the services, training programs and scholarships that are much needed in our communities

 DONATIONS NEEDED NOW:

• PRIORITY - Monetary Donations are much needed  
• Please help support our cause.  We have such a heart for our youth and we've added additional programs to our agenda, such as our upcoming youth communications forum.  Also, we are very proud of our annual Prom Girls Rock - prom dress give-away event.  This is an event every high school student looks forward to each year.  713 CEG is an extension of our Mom's dream to serve the community as she was also a community organizer for the city of Chicago.  Your cash donations will go towards the costly expenses need to produce this event each year, and will be greatly appreciated. 
• Our goal this year is to move into a larger storage space.  No amount you give is too small.  If you are a retailer or vendor we would LOVE to partner with you. Thank you!
• If you are a bridal boutique, department store or designer we will be more than happy to help you clean out your sample and discontinued clothing items, makeup and accessories inventory and we will provide you with a donation receipt)

• PLUS SIZE DRESSES – 14 and up are also greatly appreciated

• Jewelry and accessories
• Handbags
• School Supplies
• Unused makeup
• Dress Racks
• Shoes
• Plastic, disposable garment bags (dry cleaner type)
• STORAGE SPACE

Additional volunteers/items we need for day of Event:

• Equipment movers
• Security
• Publicity/Marketing - help us get the word out (Share on Social Media)
• Items for college trunk give-away   (Laptops, tablets, hand towels, dish soap, lotion, body wash, deoderant, etc.)
